Apple has officially announced the iPhone 16e, a new budget-friendly smartphone that replaces both the iPhone SE (2022) and the iPhone 14 in Apple’s lineup. This feature-packed device offers several significant upgrades over its predecessors, making it a strong contender in the budget phone market.

• Flagship-Grade Internals: The iPhone 16e is equipped with the A18 chip, the same chipset found in the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, ensuring top-notch performance. It also includes a larger, longer-lasting battery.

The iPhone 16e is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. The base 128GB model starts at $599 / £599 / AU$999. While this price point is higher than the launch price of the iPhone SE (2022), it is significantly lower than the base model of the iPhone 16.  

Pre-orders begin on February 21, and the device will ship from February 28.
